KrimsKrams gemeinsam Wehringhausen kreativ gestalten im WirrWarr

In the organizer's words:

Currently planned meetings: Every Wednesday in August 6-8 p.m.

at WirrWarr, Lange Straße 22, 58089 Hagen

We want to beautify Wehringhausen and at the same time build up a sustainable pool of materials for artistic decorations for various events in the neighborhood. The handcrafted materials will be stored at WirrWarr, are available to borrow for events and can be reused - all in the spirit of resource conservation and community spirit.

All creative ideas are welcome - whether wooden elements, colorful signs and signposts or garlands If you like, you are welcome to bring your own materials - pens and paints are available in the studio. We also have the opportunity to request materials from various organizations, including the Umsonstladen and Theater Hagen. This is how we save materials and reuse them creatively.

Our first big event is the Parking Day weekend in September, where the handmade art will be used to decorate Lange Straße.

• Garlands made from old vinyls and fabric remnants

• Curtains made from old CDs

• Screen printing motifs for a fashion upcycle campaign on Parking Day

• Pigs made from papier-mâché for an animal welfare installation on Parking Day
