Inclusive theater and charity evening in one
Aktion Sonnenschein's inclusive Mon-Theater has been running for 20 years. As the operator of a Montessori center of diversity with an inclusive kindergarten, special needs daycare and inclusive school, Aktion Sonnenschein is committed to the joint education of children with and without special educational needs. Together with actress and cabaret artist Christine Eixenberger, the Mon Theater is presenting a gala live radio play version of its Christmas play KRIPPEWELLE in the Silbersaal to mark its anniversary.
KRIPPEWELLE is about a small family who set off in search of a hostel around 2025 years ago, about sudden labor pains, a group of shepherds including an FSJ shepherd trainee, four holy three kings and a baby-killing dictator. And it is about an inclusive theater group and their godmother Christine Eixenberger, who 2025 years later set out to bring this very story to the stage as a live radio play.
"Passion, individuality, curiosity, cohesion and the necessary mischief - I see all of this when I look into the eyes of the children and teachers who make the Mon Theater what it is. And that's exactly what it takes to be able to live and love theater!
You, dear Mon Theater, find common ground despite everything that seems to divide us. You write cohesion in capital letters, despite all adversity - that is what is needed, especially in these wild times, in which hatred, agitation, fear and insecurity feel like they have the upper hand. Thank you, dear Mon Theater, for letting me be your godmother."
