Public evening program of the symposium of the German Federal Cultural Foundation

From September 22 to 24, two events in Mannheim will be dedicated to the challenges of climate change for culture. To mark the conclusion of the nationwide pilot project Climate Adaptation in Cultural Institutions, the Federal Cultural Foundation, in cooperation with the Mannheim National Theatre, is hosting the symposium Culture in the +2-degree Society at the Alte Feuerwache.

The public evening program in the EinTanzHaus will present artistic perspectives on climate change: short films by Environmental Dance, the Changing Climate Changing Lives Film Festival Bangkok and the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg will open up new perspectives, and the Orchestra of Change will provide musical impulses. The subsequent Network Zero Baden-Württemberg event on 24.9. will provide information on how climate-friendly art and cultural projects can be realized.
