100 years of Schwabing City Library
In his lecture, historian and Schwabing expert Dr. Reinhard Bauer embarks on a journey through the cultural development of Schwabing: from the turbulent days of the 1918 revolution, through the turbulent Weimar Republic and the dark era of the Nazi dictatorship, to the cultural awakening in the post-war period. Literature and, in particular, the municipal library founded by Hans Ludwig Held are at the center of his attention.
The Schwabing City Library is celebrating its 100th birthday and you can join us for a varied program.
Please note: The Schwabing City Library will be renovated from November 1 to 24 and will therefore not open until the start of the event.
