Breaking the cycle of violence:
Parents Circle - Families Forum as a guest in Hamburg
Conversation
For 30 years, Israeli and Palestinian families have been working for dialog and reconciliation in the Parents Circle - Families Forum.
The members of the organization have lost close relatives as a result of the violence in the Middle East conflict. Instead of revenge or resignation, they choose to mourn together and work for justice and peace. Their aim is to transform pain into hope and promote peaceful coexistence.
The Parents Circle - Families Forum was awarded the International Human Rights Prize of the City of Nuremberg in 2025 - a recognition of their courageous commitment to reconciliation and peace. On this evening, the two directors Nadine Quomsieh and Ayelet Harel will talk about their work and show how dialog and reconciliation are possible even in times of deep conflict.
