Kunst gewinnt die Zukunft. Marcel Bouziri – Höhepunkte seiner Sammlung

The Künstlerforum Bonn is presenting a selection from Marcel Bouziri's impressive collection. For more than forty years, the Bonn businessman has passionately collected over a thousand works of painting, graphic art and sculpture. The exhibition shows the artistic diversity of the Bonn scene and spans several decades of local art history.

Bouziri collects art out of enthusiasm and in close connection with the artists of the region. He began his collection with the artists' group Semikolon, whose members are still active in the artists' forum today. On display are works by Alf Bayrle, Steffen Terk, Leo Breuer, Marianne and Horst Pitzen as well as prizewinners of the August Macke Medal such as Theo Stammer, Petra Siering and Renate Brandt. The exhibition also pays tribute to the scholarship holders of the Bonn Studio House in Dorotheenstraße and the Heinrich Böll Foundation who were active there.

The exhibition is organized by the association MB Sammlung Bonn e.V., which secures the works permanently and presents them regularly in exhibitions.
