"Women Artists - Power and Vision" is a workshop in the cozy atmosphere of the café in Sojus 7. Everyone aged 16 and over is cordially invited to come together, talk, laugh, be curious, exchange ideas and get creative together.
The artist Hannah Höch, who was an artist of the Berlin Dada movement in the 20th century and commented on the social and political situation of her time in a humorous and often biting way with her picture collages, serves as a shining example.
The workshop is part of the workshop series of the same name, in which a female art pioneer of the 20th century is examined, such as Meret Oppenheim, Hilma af Klint or Käthe Kollwitz, all of whom also gave their names to streets in Monheim. In each workshop, one of the artists and their work will be introduced so that participants can then create their own works of art inspired by them.
The event is a project of the art school in cooperation with Sojus 7.
The workshop is free of charge. Twelve people can take part. Please register via the art school(https://kunstschule.monheim.de/). Course no. K-25W-7012
