You've never heard of the butterfly alphabet or wondered why butterfly wings are often so strikingly colorful? Never mind! Dr. Volker Lohrmann, insect researcher at the Übersee-Museum, will guide you through the exhibition and help you decipher the butterfly code of camouflage, deception and boasting. Because there really is a message behind every butterfly wing pattern. It's all about being seen or not being seen.
