La Brigade du Kif have been electrifying French festival culture with their explosive mix of ska, rock, swing and punk since 2016. Now the band is back with full force - with their new studio album On veut du bruit, which was released at the end of May 2025. Bolder and more versatile than ever, this work explores new worlds of sound - metal, waltz, chanson, reggae - while remaining true to the cheeky, brass-driven and euphoric style that made them famous.

For this project, the Brigade has invited renowned guests, including members of legendary bands such as Radio Bemba Sound System, La Ruda, Les Hurlements d'Léo, Saï Saï, Les Zingueurs, Cartoon Machine and Giramundo.

The 2026 tour will celebrate the band's 10th anniversary - a decade of energetic concerts, enthusiastic fans and shared KIF. It will run from spring to late summer and will take in France and several European countries.

Precise rhythms meet great musical freedom when the four Augsburg musicians from brennenstuhl take off. Their program features unexpected but always catchy structures and an enormous variety of musical colors. Bass and drums as a driving Krautrock machine, paired with psychedelic guitar playing from jazz and blues, form the carpet for saxophonist and singer Eva (Augsburg Jazz Prize winner 2023), whose voice is reminiscent of a mixture of Erykah Badu and Tess Parks. The band describes their sound as krautrock/acid jazz - loud and quirky, but also thoughtful, quiet, straightforward and always danceable. Since the release of their debut album "brennenstuhl" (HeadApeRecords) in 2017, the band has been constantly on the road in clubs and at festivals in southern Germany. The second album "No" followed in September 2022 in collaboration with Tonzonen Records. Particularly noteworthy are appearances at festivals such as Humulus Lupulus Festival, Kunstwerk-Open Air Augsburg or as support for Damo Suzuki (Krautrock legend of Can)
