For all those who have not yet had the opportunity to get to know the state parliament, there is a new offer with the Visitors' Day. This will take place on Sunday, April 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and offers a varied program for young and old.
Guided tours with different thematic focuses are planned at 11 am, 1.30 pm and 3 pm. In addition to a general tour, there will also be a guided tour in easy language and a tour with a special focus on the history of the building.
There will be a special program for children and young people: they can design buttons or bags at creative stations and discover the building in a playful way during state parliament bingo and a children's tour with a scavenger hunt.
There is also the opportunity to visit the Lenz exhibition taking place in the State House at the time. With the democracy quiz and the "Democrat-O-Mat" in collaboration with Pure Fruit, visitors can interactively engage with democratic issues. And it's back to the 80s: The movie "Unser Landtag - Geschichte und Auftrag von 1988" will be shown in the conference room - including popcorn, of course.
