Visit the MONTBLANC HAUS during this year's Long Night of Museums between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. and immerse yourself in the world of writing with a special program.

Temporary exhibition: INSPIRE WRITING I FILMMAKING

In 2024, Montblanc celebrated the centenary of the Meisterstück, an icon that inspired generations to write. Cult director Wes Anderson honored this anniversary with a short film. The INSPIRE WRITING I FILMMAKING exhibition shows parts of the original film set alongside other objects from the world of film. On view until June 2026.

7 - 9 p.m.: Craftsmanship Live: Exclusive insights into Montblanc pen production

Did you know that all Montblanc writing instruments, including every single nib, are manufactured exclusively in Hamburg? Axel Nier, expert for writing instruments from the Montblanc manufactory, will show you live how the nibs are polished by hand and give you further exclusive insights into the craftsmanship behind the fountain pens.

6 - 9 p.m.: Children's rally with the characters from Sesame Street

Together with Sesame Workshop Europe, the non-profit organization behind "Sesame Street", we have created a children's rally. Our young visitors can discover the INSPIRE WRITING exhibition in a playful way - with a little surprise at the end. The rally is suitable for children aged 6-12 and lasts approx. 1 hour.

Welcome to Bistro 149 by Kitchen Guerilla! A place to relax and recharge your batteries during the Long Night of Museums. We look forward to welcoming you with a creative selection of drinks, snacks and pastries until 01:00.

The MONTBLANC HAUS is on April 18. 2026 from 6 pm to 01 am. Admission is only permitted with a ticket for the LONG NIGHT OF MUSEUMS.
