Language Sound Matters: Poetry in Performances

In the organizer's words:

Three duos perform. We experience them in dialogic formats. They examine language as an event before our eyes and ears.

Club Real enter into a live dialog and negotiate rights for all living beings.

Monique Ulrich & Tabea Nixdorf turn paratexts into a spoken duet.

And Bülhoff/Matter transform word music into a DJ set.

Language Sound Matters: Poetry in Performances is an experimental and playful event. The performances open up access to texts beyond reading. Here, literature is sound and performance by people and more-than-human beings. Literature is also: voice, sound, repetition and rhythm.

A collaboration between the Phonopoetics Department/Herrmann Chair and Burg Hülshoff - Center for Literature.

It is not necessary to register in advance.

The event will be held in German and English spoken language.
