Lara Ermer - Leicht entflammbar

Author, presenter and comedienne Lara Ermer has been writing and reading for as long as she can remember. Over time, humor has increasingly come to the fore in her performances. Now she is presenting her second full-length solo program Leicht entflammbar. Ermer succeeds in talking humorously about supposed taboos and making even complex topics accessible in a pointed way. Ermer always bases the social references in her art on her irrepressible curiosity and solid facts. She often reads stacks of studies for inspiration - and then turns them into entertainment so that her audience doesn't have to struggle through the dry deserts of science themselves. In her books and on stage, this results in a perspective that is always wide awake, relevant and to the point.

Ermer's first book Ein offenes Buch - Von idealen Körpern, perfektm Sex und anderen Mythen was published in 2021 and was a surprise success. In 2024, she teamed up with entertainer Bodo Wartke to create a highly acclaimed social media hit on the subject of "dickpics". At the beginning of 2025, Lara Ermer thrilled audiences as tour support for Enissa Amani. She regularly appears on TV and radio for comedy and cabaret as well as podcasts and other online formats. She has already received several awards for her work. Her second book Alle gegen Alle (dtv) was published in March 2025.

Easily inflamed

We all no longer understand the world - so Lara Ermer took a look. With refreshing clarity, she addresses the important questions of our time without burning her fingers. Why the hell are we so quick to become abusive in social discussions? If I'm right in any case - what's wrong with you? Her program is backed by watertight research, the depths of the internet and a degree in psychology. Comedy doesn't get more profound than that.

Lara Ermer certainly doesn't wear rose-tinted glasses in her keen view of our society. She doesn't sugarcoat anything, but instead always has some damn entertaining perspectives at the ready. Courage to be fierce! She walks the fine line between activism and apocalypse with acuity and self-confidence. When the world is already on fire, it's a great moment to stir things up. In this way, the comedienne humorously questions supposedly self-evident facts and rusty views. To put it in Lara's words: if you want to do it like the Neanderthals, that's perfectly okay. Just please be consistent: die out.
