In the organizer's words:

Once founded as an association by film and culture enthusiasts, Weitwinkel - Forum für Film und Kultur im Fünfseenland e. V. has been supporting the Five Lakes Film Festival for years and organizes the popular short film competition.

In 2025, the Weitwinkel association will present its own selection of short films outside of the competition.

Fancy something different? Then this special short film evening is just the thing! With an entertaining mix of bizarre, funny and absurd short films, we will bring the short film section to a close - presented by Weitwinkel e.V.
Look forward to stories that surprise, make you laugh and are sometimes simply wonderfully strange. Whether black humor, weird characters or absurd situations - everything that is fun is allowed here.
