Laura Folkers (Duo Concert)

Exactly one year to the day after the release of her debut album 'Once', Laura Folkers, winner of local heroes 2024, will be playing a duo concert at Liebknecht70 in Magdeburg.

"Dreamy folk pop, enchanting harmonies and an almost warming vocal color"(0381 Magazine). Singer-songwriter Laura Folkers fuses pop, jazz and folk elements. Her songs are sensitive and powerful at the same time. They vividly tell of "everything that wants to be expressed through music". Laura Folkers works with harmonies that create mystical, emotional or simply beautiful moods: an invitation to the soundtrack in her head. She is inspired by artists such as Becca Stevens, Norah Jones and Ben Folds.
