The exhibition Le sel noir (black salt) was named after a volume of poetry published in 1960 by the Martinique-born poet and post-colonial thinker Édouard Glissant. It is a joint exhibition project of the Städtische Galerie Villingen-Schwenningen and the Städtische Galerie Bremen.
