Lenzmarkt: Es grünt so grün…

Every year on Mother's Day, the Lenzmarkt takes place at the historic Speicher XI warehouse in Bremen's Überseestadt district. Around 100 exhibitors transform the grounds into a sea of flowers and plants and really whet the appetite for spring and being outdoors.

The offer ranges from flower bulbs, perennials, shrubs, fruit bushes and young vegetable plants to roses and balcony plants in bright colors. Rare varieties, herbs and seeds from the organic sector complete the range. Knowledgeable advice directly from the producer and tips from gardening experts ensure that the "greenery" you buy will continue to give pleasure (and yield!) after planting and sowing.

If you are not only looking for plants, but also want to decorate your garden, balcony or patio, you can also draw on the full range of products at the Lenzmarkt. All kinds of horticultural ornaments, charming accessories, garden technology and attractive decorative items invite you to browse and buy. The range will also be supplemented by pet supplies.

Visitors can enjoy both sweet and savory refreshments at various food stalls or watch the hustle and bustle over a small morning snack or a cup of coffee.

A visit to the Lenzmarkt is of course free of charge. The event can be reached by public transport with bus line 28 (bus stop "Hochschule für Künste" & "Überseetor") or streetcar line 3 (stop "Waller Ring"). If you come by car or bicycle, there are numerous free parking spaces available at the wholesale market.
