Leonce und Lena: Lustspiel von Georg Büchner

In the organizer's words:

King Peter wants to hand over power to his son Leonce. But Leonce, paralyzed by melancholy boredom, refuses to accept any social office. When his marriage to the unknown Princess Lena is imminent, Leonce flees to Italy. Lena also wants to determine her own life and also flees the arranged marriage. The two royal children meet by chance and fall in love - without knowing each other's true identity. They cannot escape their externally determined fate. Büchner's comedy between satire and comedy of mistaken identity is used by director Stefan Pucher, who delighted audiences with "Woyzeck", as an opportunity to continue his success story in Wiesbaden.
