Three saxophones. Three personalities. One unmistakable sound.

Les Connaisseurs take their audience into a world of sound full of passion, elegance and joy of playing - played on three saxophones of the legendary Conn brand from the 1930s, whose warm, characterful tone still inspires today.

With them are:
Rainer Hanke (alto saxophone),
Achim Kleiner (baritone saxophone) and
Gert Anklam (soprano saxophone).

The trio's program is as multifaceted as its sound: fiery tangos, swinging jazz pieces, pop songs in surprising arrangements, original compositions and classics of the saxophone literature. Played with virtuosity, charmingly presented and spiced up with a pinch of French nonchalance, the result is an afternoon full of esprit and musical sophistication.
