On 23.10.2025 Brigitte Lamberts presents her latest Mallorca crime novel. In conversation with Kerstin Lange, a member of the B.O., she answers questions about Germany's favorite vacation island and how she comes up with her murderous ideas.

The story: Sven Ruge, a passionate Mallorca lover and food critic, and his girlfriend Sofia have discovered a charming little, but unfortunately dilapidated house in a beautiful, secluded bay. His dream: he wants to build something here, a hotel with a restaurant, a home for Sofia, himself and his friends. Everything is going well. But then strange accidents, sabotage and even a murder occur! Sven is alarmed. Who is behind it all? He begins to investigate and delves into the history of the 1970s on the popular Balearic island. Eventually he realizes that a former SS man is the key to murder and manslaughter in the present. A fight to the death begins.

About the author: Brigitte Lamberts holds a doctorate in art history and is a freelance PR consultant and editor. As co-editor of Mallorca mörderisch genießen and Blutspuren auf Mallorca (Wellhöfer Verlag, Mannheim), she developed a taste for focusing on her favorite island and wrote El Gustario de Mallorca und das tödliche Elixier, her first Mallorca crime novel.
