A warm invitation to poetry at veränderbar

Jane Wels will present her second volume of poetry Das Es reiten, which was published in 2025 by "edition offenes Feld" edited by Jürgen Brôcan, while Silvio Colditz will read new poems from an as yet unpublished manuscript.

Jane Wels, born in 1955, trained as a graphic designer and advertising specialist before working as an art buyer, FFF producer and studio manager in advertising agencies, sound and photo studios. She later founded the first casting agency in NRW. This was followed by a master's degree in adult education, developmental psychology and media studies, as well as training as a social therapist and sex educator. Most recently, she worked in private practice as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy with a focus on sexual counseling.

She began writing experimental texts as early as 1989, but these only remained accessible to a small circle of artist friends. During her professional years, she mainly wrote specialist texts. It was not until 2024 that her debut volume "Schwankende Lupinen" was published by eof "edition offenes feld", edited by Jürgen Brôcan. www.janewels.de

silvio colditz, born 1978 in the Erzgebirge, lives as a calligrapher, poet & editor in Dresden. Founded the literary magazine Der Maulkorb - Blätter für Literatur und Kunst in 2007 (editor & layout until 2018). Operates the calligraphic library of poetry. Since 2022 editor & calligrapher Die Geste. In 2022 his latest poetry collection "sich selbst aufs Spiel setzen" was published under his label 3 crows Publishing.
