What role do NGOs play in democracy? How do citizens even get in touch with politicians? And what does all this have to do with plastic?
In this interactive workshop, Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) and Bürgerlobby Klimaschutz will show how civil society can get involved in politics. Using plastics policy as an example, we will discuss how we as NGOs can form a counterweight to industry - for more climate and environmental protection. In the subsequent training session, you will receive directly applicable tips on how to effectively introduce your concerns into political processes.
Come along if you want to learn how lobbying works from the bottom up - for a healthy, liveable future!
