Excitement in the role-playing group. A new player suddenly appears and feels called upon to play the character of Joan of Arc. And then she simply has absolute luck with the dice. One critical success after the next. Joan gives it her all. But for what? While some celebrate Joan, others have their doubts. Are the dice rigged? Johanna remains silent. Almost stoically. Real main character energy. As the boundaries between play and reality shift, Schiller's pathos increasingly fills the space and questions about iconization, morality and fate, chance or skill are raised. Juli Mahid Carly develops a poppy interrogation of the classics from a queer and post-migrant perspective, in which humor and thematic depth go hand in hand. When Johanna falls at the end, is it all still a game?
