The 8th Night of Light Art will take place in the Hellweg region from October 24-26, 2025.
This light art tour combines a visit to the light art works with special temporary light art projects in Lünen and Bergkamen as well as a guided tour of the Center for International Light Art in Unna.
The light art tour begins in Lünen with a bus trip to the neighboring town of Bergkamen. In addition to a selection of existing works of light art, the temporary light installation by Till Schwennbeck will also be on display there. The tour continues to Unna to the Light Art Center with a guided tour of the current temporary exhibition "Light-Land-Scapes". The tour will conclude with a visit to the light art works in Lünen and the temporary installation by artist Maja Funke, which the artist will talk about on site. The tour will be accompanied by light art guide Dominik Olbrisch.

Timetable:
18:30: Departure Lünen
19:00: Start in Bergkamen at the bus station, visit to the temporary installation by artist Till Schwennbeck.
approx. 19:50: Departure in the direction of Unna (journey time approx. 30 minutes)
20:30: Guided tour of the Center for International Light Art, the world's first and only museum of its kind with installations by world-renowned contemporary artists. In the vaulted cellars of the old Linden brewery, light travelers will encounter selected highlights from the permanent exhibition as well as the current temporary exhibition. (Duration of the tour approx. 90 minutes)
Approx. 22:30: Arrival in Lünen: visit to the temporary installation by artist Maja Funke.
Approx. 23:15: Return to Bergkamen.
