Literarischer Abend für den FriedenLesung & Musik mit Haydar Ergülen

In the organizer's words:

On Saturday, September 14, 2025, we cordially invite you to a special literary evening. From 17:00 to 20:00, guests can expect inspiring words, music and encounters around the theme of peace.

The renowned Turkish poet Haydar Ergülen will read selected poems, originally in Turkish, accompanied by German translations. Fuat Kaplan and Remonda Balje will moderate the event.

The program will be enriched by further contributions:

✨ Cabaret artist Ilhan Atasoy (Dortmund) will provide humorous accents.

✨ Musical framework

✨ Members of Welthaus perform the German versions of the poems.

✨ Refreshments will be provided: in addition to coffee, tea and water, we invite you to enjoy homemade cakes.
