Led by singer-songwriter Emma Hardyman, the avant-folk band from Provo, Utah, made a splash last year when they won the 2023 edition of NPR's Tiny Desk Contest with a rousing entry of their explosive, artfully layered song "wonder eye".
After the release of her debut album Unphased in 2020, Hardyman wanted to write a romantic album about her newlywed husband Nathan, but the universe had other plans. In the MUSIKZIMMER she presents her current songs as a solo act.

Kira Hummen started out as a singer-songwriter project with jazz and soul influences. Since her first self-produced album "My Body Is The Only Place", she has developed further into unusual alternative pop that could hardly be more diverse.

Her EP "Her Legacy" was released in May 2025. Poppy melodies that are not afraid to cross boundaries and charged lyrics that literally embrace the compositions in the singer's intimate vocals. "Her Legacy" is about the female legacy of our ancestors. The women who came before us, who paved the way, who passed on stories and wisdom, but also pain and trauma.
