this.is.barbara.frey is originally from Germany and has lived in Sweden for nine years. She has made a name for herself as a selector and vinyl DJ in Copenhagen and throughout Sweden; she is now also increasingly playing in the south (here: Bremen!!!). Her sets blend fusion, jazz-funk, smooth jazz and other rich rhythmic textures of the late 70s into a warm musical journey - her signature sound.

In addition to her work behind the turntables, she is a music curator at Resonans in Malmö, a platform for hi-fi listening sessions that builds a bridge between music, science and philosophy.

In the follow-up to jazzahead! CLUBNIGHT, this.is.barbara.frey brings her carefully selected records to the club stage at CASINO FUTUR, creating a listening experience that invites you to both listen and dance. With subtle surprises and seamless transitions.
