Sextet from England in Germany for two shows in March 2026

Beyond the hip-hop core of their music, Monster Florence touch on genres such as grime, punk, jazz, psychedelic rock and indie. It goes without saying that they reject all genre boundaries in the process. Finding a single name for the resulting style is more difficult than simply surrendering to the creative output of the band from Colchester. Their latest EP "PETTY CASH" was released on September 19th and once again presents the sound of Monster Florence in casual diversity on eight tracks. After a successful support tour for Professor Green as well as their own headline tours, the band from England is coming back to Germany and will be performing live in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg in March 2026.

Monster Florence was formed in 2014 by the three vocalists DreamMclean, Alex Osiris, Wallace Rice, the two multi-instrumentalists Tom Donovan (guitar, keyboard & programming) and JonnyPoole (saxophone, keyboard & bass) and drummer CameronMorrell. Originally planned as a project for a single festival performance, the idea of turning the project into a proper band quickly took root. After the first singles in 2016 and the debut EP "The Groove", the band signed with Goldbar Records and released their debut album "48" in 2017. In 2018, the second album "Foul" was released, which landed the sextet's first hit with the track "Deck Of Cards" and further boosted the project's success. In 2019, Monster Florence headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at the legendary Glastonbury Festival. After signing to Project Melody, "Cowboys and Idiots" was released in 2020 as the band's next EP, featuring live sessions from the legendary Abbey Road Studios. On their first works, still clearly rooted in British hip-hop, Monster Florence continued to develop their own sound with melodic and atmospheric influences from indie, rock and post-punk. In 2023, "Master System" was released as the band's third album and revealed the direction of this redefined sound with the lead single "Borstal" and the songs "Spaceman" and "Midnight Club" . In September 2025, Monster Florence released their latest record "Petty Cash". Listening to the top tracks "PINKY", "WHITE NOISE" and "TOOTHSKIN" once again shows the versatility of the English band's sound, which has found a unique take on contemporary British hip-hop with increasing post-punk vibes and indie influences.
