The Daniels are the band of ex-Cosmic Casino frontman Rich Goerlich and the wonderful singer/songwriter Daniel Pain. At their side: musicians from 30 years of musical journey together. Sounds like something between Lemonheads, the Replacements, Turin Brakes and Wilco. Or something like that.

Music has to be fun. And be personal. And under no circumstances should it want to be something that isn't. With this idea, on a hot summer's day, Richard Goerlich (vocals, ex-Cosmic Casino, ex-Les Must) and Daniel Pain founded their joint project: The Daniels. The two of them really aren't newcomers - and yet their sound somehow feels as fresh and impetuous as a debut. Between clattering guitars, driving drums and melodies that immediately stick in the ear, two voices meet in a duet: it's a match, as they say. The songs tell of growing up, getting older, moving on and standing still, of song lines that are important for survival and rear-view mirror dreams, pop icons of youth - and how nice it is sometimes when you lose. A bit of Wilco, a pinch of Turin Brakes, a touch of Lemonheads, an echo of the Replacements - and yet unmistakably The Daniels. 12 songs, recorded over the course of a year in various stages, will be released as a vinyl LP entitled "How much is he world?" in the fall of 2025. Of course, you can also stream the stuff if you have to. On stage, Goerlich and Pain are joined by old companions who turn the project into a live band, a concert, a rather personal thing. Good thing it's all about the fun.

nica is a singer-songwriter from Augsburg. With the finest fingerpicking and a gentle voice, her songs tell stories of change, doubt, hope and the courage to find our way through the unknown. In a world that is often characterized by hectic and noise, she creates moments of peace and connection with her soulful songs and honest lyrics. nica opens up spaces in which you can find yourself and pause - music that touches without being loud. After the release of her first EP "landscapes" in October 2024, her next single "save me" followed on June 6, 2025.
