When julakim plays with her band, music becomes a living organism - groovy, breathing, an interplay of energy and silence. Samba, bossa, African rhythms, Arabic harmonies - sometimes driving, sometimes floating - fill the room. And then something happens: a collective moment in which everything comes together. Music - the most intuitive language - speaks to body and soul at the same time. julakim's voice is the heart of this sound universe - sometimes flattering and delicate, sometimes penetrating and powerful. With emotional depth and impressive range, she opens up spaces between intimacy and explosion. julakim is fearless and tender, humorous and demanding, quiet and loud - an artist who does not pigeonhole herself, but transforms herself. Francis on bass and K on drums together create a vibrating sound field that moves - internally and externally.
