Canadian pop-punk hopefuls to play four shows in Germany

In the pop-punk revival of the early 2020s, LØLØ became one of the most exciting newcomers in North America. In her music, the Canadian picks up on alternative rock, grunge, indie pop and punk and sings about topics that resonate with young people around the world. The fact that LØLØ 's music offers so much potential for identification and is highly emotional may be due to the fact that, according to her own statement, she has experienced her emotions herself and processes them in her music. With three EPs, her debut album "falling for robots &wishing i was one" and new singles in her luggage, the 28-year-old singer will be coming to Germany for four shows in April and May, performing in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Dortmund.

The career of LØLØ - aka Lauren Mandel - started a long time before she became the pop-rock force we know today. Even as a child, she had a large and varied CD collection, ranging from the Wizard of Oz soundtrack to Hilary Duff and Green Day. After all, it was the pop-punk band that shaped her like no other. She released her debut single "Yours " under her stage name in 2018 and quickly made a name for herself in Canada with her rocking spirit, emotional songs, open lyrics and catchy pop melodies. This was followed by the EPs "Sweater Collection" (2019) and "overkill" (2021), before her third EP "debbie downer" (2022) made her known on a larger scale. On the EP, the title track with a feature by Maggie Lindemann became the singer's most popular track to date alongside the hit song "u turn me on (but u give me depression)". Song covers on TikTok have also helped LØLØ 's fanbase grow, and her cover of the Bruce Springsteen song "Dancing In The Dark" was another huge success. In 2024, she released her latest album "falling for robots &wishing i was one", which is dedicated to the concept of what it feels like to grow up and find your way in today's world. On her current track "me with no shirt on", the singer followed up the singles "american zombie" and "the devil wears converse" in November. Her approach of writing unfiltered music straight from her heart has not changed since 2018. LØLØ says herself: "I create music to let my feelings out and let others know that they are not alone. Whether you're crying to one of the songs or jumping around and screaming, just know that we're all in the same boat."
