Dancing and singing with Catalan pride

When Jordi Savall takes to the stage, times long past come to life and mystical places appear before the inner eye. In this case, the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey north of Barcelona, very close to Jordi Savall's Catalan birthplace. With his ensemble Hespèrion XXI, the early music legend brings late medieval songs and dances from the monastery's famous collection to the stage.
