Local Waves: Die Libellen

In the organizer's words:

Die Libellen play indie pop with German lyrics. The trio with Christian Schober on vocals and guitar, Jan Wienforth on bass and Oliver Glück on drums comes from Munich and you can hear that: their songs are about Negroni parties, "Munich puts its business women in the spotlight" and "Chinese characters" make their promises of salvation. "Being a useful member of society was my motive from the very beginning" is the motto of a city in which the "coup d'état of love" is just a dream. Last resort? "Of all the things that make you unfree, I don't want to miss alcohol and cigarettes." After the EP "Spucken" from 2025, her new EP "Von all den Dingen, die dich unfrei machen" will be released on May 22, 2026.
