Lonely Planets

In the organizer's words:

When are you lonely? Do you often feel alone? Does loneliness have anything to do with age? Are children less lonely than old people?

In 2018, the UK became the first country in the world to set up a Ministry for Loneliness. In Germany, the Federal Cabinet adopts the federal government's strategy against loneliness in 2023. The strategy includes all age groups and all people who may be affected by loneliness. The description states: "The feeling of loneliness can arise at any age and in any life situation. Millions of people in Germany feel lonely." But what can we do to counteract loneliness? What places are places of encounter, of togetherness?

In the ^JUST+ workshop, the TiF - Theater im Fridericianum opens its doors and invites you to listen, watch, think, participate and become part of a Gesamtkunstwerk. The theme of loneliness and its relationship to nature and the state of the world is explored using (performing) arts. The encounter between young and old perspectives will be documented.

Groups can book the morning and evening workshop slots in the same way as performances. No preparation is necessary.
