Lorenzo Petrocca TRIO/solo

In the organizer's words:

The music of this trio was born out of the tradition of the great jazz guitarists such as Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, George Benson & Pat Martino.

Bebop, bossa nova, ballads and blues are the trio's most important elements.

The band's repertoire consists of "Standards From The American Songbook". Italian songs are also performed time and again.

In addition to trio pieces, Lorenzo also likes to play rare solo pieces from his current solo album "My Foolish Heart", which has been nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.

Music that is entirely dedicated to the jazz guitar!

Lorenzo Petrocca on guitar, Baden-Württemberg Jazz Prize winner Axel Kühn on bass and Lars Binder on drums are three top-class European musicians. They can be heard at many festivals and clubs in Europe.
