Annotated reading from the election manifestos for the 2026 Munich municipal elections

It's not long until the Bavarian local elections on March 8 and most people are asking themselves: What do the parties have to offer? Who do I want to vote for? And what are the most important issues in the battle for Munich City Hall? For more insight into the local election campaign and less confusion in the voting booth, there will be an annotated reading of the election programs in the GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM: Actors will perform excerpts from the current election manifestos, which will be classified and analyzed by two experts. The course of the election campaign and the political prospects after the election will not be neglected either! In addition to a journalistic perspective, Martin Gross (political scientist at the LMU with a focus on research into local politics) will be part of the panel.

The event is neutral in terms of party politics and is intended to provide information, motivate people to vote and encourage discussion. Of course, there will be no specific election recommendations at "Lost in the voting booth?"!
