The four musicians of Lottis Swingquadrat met after their studies at jazz sessions in Berlin and quickly discovered their shared passion for jazz, the interplay that grabs us, carries us away and invites us to rave about it. They dedicate themselves to classic hits from America, which still inspire us today and go straight to the heart, as well as more modern compositions, which they explore and thus have a creatively diverse repertoire. Charlotte Joerges on saxophone alternates melodies and accompaniment with the multi-layered sounds of Lion Wegmann, accompanied by the unmistakable groove of Freddie Darthe on bass and the foundation of creative drummer Aron Hantke.
