Lovebird Festival 2026

The Lovebird Festival is entering another round and is consistently developing its idea further. Rooted in jazz, this year's festival once again sees itself as an open sounding board for contemporary forms of music and artistic experiments. Jazz is less a genre than an attitude: improvising, connecting, curious. From this perspective, new soundscapes between hip-hop, electro, indie, funk and soul emerge - surprising, multi-layered and lively.

The festival does not see music in isolation, but as part of a larger cultural context. Lovebird creates a place where listening and participating, emotion and reflection, artistic expression and social dialog naturally belong together. Different formats, atmospheres and encounters intertwine and turn the festival into a holistic experience.

In addition to music, the non-music area is also becoming increasingly important. Performative, discursive and visual formats expand the program and open up additional perspectives on art, culture and the present. Details will follow - but one thing is already certain: The Lovebird Festival will remain a place of inspiration, exchange and open experience.

Locations include: Ratinger Hof, Maxhaus, Theatermuseum, Goethe-Museum, Malkasten, Schleuse Zwei in Bilker Bunker, Stadtstrand and many more!

Good to know: The festival ticket does not entitle you to admission to the concert karaoke talk on the musical poetry album on Friday, 05.06.2025 in the Theatermuseum Düsseldorf and to the city tour "Sound of Düsseldorf" on Saturday, 06.06.2026 and Sunday, 07.06.2026.
