In Ukrainian language with German surtitles

Eleven poignant stories, brought together in "The Stories of Escaping Animals", tell of animals in search of a place where they can be. Platypuses, mice, cats and other creatures, marked by the scars of flight, try to gain a foothold in a foreign world. They are frighteningly close to us humans - and yet their deepest fears and most intimate thoughts often remain unspoken.
