In a time that teeters between chaos and comedy, Ballhaus hits a nerve with his songs - and sometimes right to the heart.

After their acclaimed concert with a larger line-up in 2022, Ballhaus is now returning to the Herrenhaus with an intimate trio:

• Adrian Ils - vocals, guitars, frame drums, lyrics & composition

• Verena Guido - vocals, accordion, keyboard, lyrics & composition

• Bernd Keul - bass

What characterizes this trio?
An impressive stylistic range, subtle lyrics between melancholy and irony - and a stage presence that is both musically and personally convincing.

The songs revolve around what drives many people: The fragile balance between world despair and lust for life, between social helplessness and personal hope. Sometimes touching, sometimes bizarre - but never arbitrary.

Ballhaus presents a varied program of classics from her repertoire and brand new pieces. An evening that shows: Ambition and entertainment are not mutually exclusive - on the contrary.
