The UK baroque-pop phenomenon comes to Germany this fall

With a glass of red wine in hand, lovingly made up and dressed in a 1960s aesthetic and a romantic atmosphere, Luvcat creates a performance at her shows that captivates with theatrical elements and touching love songs. When Luvcat first revealed her sound between baroque pop and indie, she quickly enchanted a worldwide audience with her seductive vocals and her band on TikTok and Instagram. Viral videos of live performances made "He's My Man" and "Matador" the project's first hits and led to millions of streaming views. After supporting shows for The Dinner Party and Paris Paloma, Luvcat toured Europe as a headliner for the first time in spring 2025. Less than a year after the release of the first single, she played in London's Hyde Park in the summer of 2025 as the support act for Sabrina Carpenter and made her debut at the legendary Glastonbury Festival alongside performances at BLUDFEST, Rock For People, Great Escape and Primavera Barcelona. This fall, Luvcat and her band will be returning to Germany for three shows in Munich, Berlin and Cologne, where they will be showcasing their unique atmosphere and dreamy songs.

There are several theories and stories about Luvcat 's origins, which explain the almost fairytale-like way in which the project was founded. Sophie Morgan - the singer and musician around whom the band from Liverpool and London was formed - has been performing under her new alter ego since 2023 and quickly attracted attention with her performances. In 2023, a 15-second video of a performance of the song "Matador" went viral on TikTok and laid the foundation for the band's first hit, which Luvcat released in May 2024. While the project made a name for itself at several headline shows in England, the ballad "He's My Man" followed in September 2024 and became the next hit aspirant even before its official release, which was quickly confirmed after its release. This was followed by "Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel" and, from 2025, the singles "Love And Money", "Lipstick " and most recently "What's A Girl To Do?", all of which captivate with Luvcat 's uniquely charming sound while revealing different influences. The fact that fans are waiting for the release of live songs such as "Alien", "Bad Books" and "Spider" and are hoping for an entire album speaks for the lasting success of the band around singer Sophie Morgan. Inspired by cabaret, glamor, dance and Parisian decadence, Luvcat create their own world, adorned with jazzy vibes, theatrical pop and a 60s retro aesthetic that is romantic and seductive in equal measure.
