Hamburg Dialogues VI: Healing Sounds

Can music heal? This question is the focus of this year's concert series, which is created at the interface of art and science. The focus: current findings in epigenetics and shamanic traditions. Epigenetics researches how external factors such as music influence our genes, while shamans have always used chants and sounds to harmonize body and mind. Both approaches merge in our concerts to create a special experience.

Experience exclusively world premieres by young female musicians from Hamburg and renowned international composers, including Latin Grammy winner Leo Brouwer, Spanish sound artist Fabian Panisello and award-winning talents such as Yixie Shen, Marta Kowalczuk, Trinity Hlynn Prater, Xiao Fu and Oscar Corpo.

Nicolas Haumann's production combines sound, light and space to create an intense total work of art that makes it possible to experience the effect of music in a new way and goes beyond listening. Become part of this special musical experience!
