Quiet Girl
- A powerful all-girl band from Lübeck
The Lübeck band Quiet Girl was formed in early 2024 and consists of Nele (guitar & vocals), Merle (bass & vocals) and Ina (drums). All three were between 14 and 17 years old when they formed. The deliberately provocative name alludes to the cliché of the "quiet girl" - the trio turns this image on its head with loud, uncompromising music.
Their style combines alternative metal, hardcore punk and post-grunge - raw, emotional and full of energy. Critics describe their performances as rousing and powerful, full of tempo
changes, heavy riffs and an intense stage presence.
But Quiet Girl is more than just music: the band sees itself as a voice for gender equality in the music scene. Personal experiences with discrimination and sexism as well as the continued significant underrepresentation of women on festival stages (2025 at Wacken: around 90% male acts) led to the founding of Quiet Girl.
male acts) led to the foundation. With the project "Gender Equality in the Music Scene", launched in 2024 and funded by the BMFSFJ, they want to create visibility, challenge prejudices and encourage young women to go their own way with confidence.

Pixie Waves
Pixie Waves combines classic pop-punk with modern influences and a clear signature style. Founded in Hamburg in 2024 as ALBA, the band is continuing its journey under a new name following a reorientation.
The sound of Pixie Waves thrives on the energy of 2000s pop-punk, carried by a distinctive female vocal. Combined with contemporary productions and fresh ideas, they create songs with depth and character that ignite immediately.
In their first year, they have already conquered numerous stages in the north. Among other things, they played on the radioBOB! Mainstage as part of Kieler Woche and their own headlining show at the Markthalle in Hamburg.
The band has big ambitions for 2026. New releases, more live shows and the next step in their development are clearly in focus. Pixie Waves want to grow, establish themselves firmly in the scene and show that modern pop-punk is still relevant today.
