After the explosive album Ashamed, an eye-catching appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and KEXP, the dazzling post-punk of Mad Foxes returns with their third album Inner Battles.
When Shame, Fontaines D.C. and Metz lovers attempt to develop new sounds and sonorities, the result is an amazing and fulfilling album. Mad Foxes brings the meeting of noise and pop - daring to marry punk and 80s kitsch - as if Elton John was having coffee with Joe Talbot. Drinking coffee with Joe Talbot.
Inner Battles is the result of an introspective and intense creative process. The band questions many of the emotions that flood their lives and relationships, dealing with mental health in its most intimate yet universal essence. Mad Foxes allow the inner need to express and share deep messy feelings while trying to find ways to get out of them, out of the inner struggle, and radiating hope and light.
