In the organizer's words:

For over two decades, Madsen have been one of the greats of the German-speaking rock scene. With their mix of energetic guitar sound, anthemic choruses and thoughtful, often socially critical lyrics, they have always struck a chord with their fans - somewhere between punk attitude, pop melodies and honest rock music.

To mark their 20th anniversary, their debut album was reissued on vinyl in 2024 - including the eleven original tracks from 2005 and the previously unreleased song "Heute Nacht". The track dates back to the original recording sessions from 2004, but was long thought to be lost on old hard drives.

Because the demand was huge - and because it was just so much fun - the band went on tour again in 2025. And the best thing is: it's going straight on in 2026! The concerts once again promise pure energy, great emotions and that good old Madsen feeling - you could almost say: the perfect version of it.

The ZMF Freiburg can also look forward to it: when Madsen take to the Zirkuszelt stage in 2026, there will be fan favorites, new songs and plenty of reasons to sing along, dance and go wild.
