Maid of Ace

Their very first show was also the birth of the band, back in 2005 at high school. After years of beer, bruises and loud music, where life naturally covered up their sound, the band started to take things more seriously around 2012. In 2014, the band self-released their debut album "Maid Of Ace", which was described by critics as "far from perfect, but still eclipsing almost everything else on the market".

The hard-working siblings continue to make a name for themselves worldwide and have become an indestructible unit and a force to be reckoned with. They are best known for their live energy, raw sound and straightforward punk rock.

Their milestones include their YouTube hit "Bone Deth" from 2014 with over 2 million views, their performance at the Glastonbury Festival 2015 and their second album "Maid In England", which made it to number 9 in the "Top 50 Albums 2016" of the magazine "Vive Le Rock". With their latest album "Live Fast or Die", they have surpassed this success and made it to number 6 of the best albums of 2020 by "Vive Le Rocks".

"Voice, bass, guitar and drums are the basic instruments of grunge, a style of music as raw and unpolished as the band Nirvana. But it's not quite ordinary grunge that Flokati and their front woman Marlies Marlen bring to the stage. Their style is too punky for that. PJ Harvey, The Kills, Bikini Kill - Flokati are inspired by the grunge of the nineties and the punk of the eighties and are on stage with long hair, sequin shirts and fake fur jackets. Flokati are generally regarded as exceptionally fluffy. This is a misconception. Flokati can also be edgy and rough."
