With a wild ride between folk, Balkan beats, pop and global oompa, Malaka Hostel have been tearing down the invisible wall between band and audience for years. And a few other borders as well. They sing in Spanish, German, Czech or English - but their "world language" is the music to sprinkle on a bit of Patos. Folk, whether from the Balkans or the Andes, finds its place - carried by Malaka Hostel's grooving beats, while the brass section, consisting of trumpets and harmonica, bubbles away in such a way that it's a real treat. With hits like "Dizko Fatale" or "Coyotes del Amor", the globetrotters have long since played their way into our hearts, always with one clear destination: collective dance ecstasy! Now their latest album "Brucca Beat" is being released just in time for the tour, posing the question of what is worth fighting for. Every song on it pulsates with urgency, defiance and unyielding joie de vivre. A lighthouse on the horizon, a song against the storm and a beat that goes on and on and leads to new shores.
