(Realistic) painting is much more than the deceptive reproduction of reality. It is always about the way in which the world is seen, understood and interpreted.

Painter Milena Tsochkova will teach you the basics of painting, such as the theory of composition, mixing colors and the illusionistic reproduction of light and shadow. She will also show you examples from art history that will inspire your own artistic work. You will learn about the many possible applications of acrylic paint in exercises and discover what can be achieved with different applications of paint. In this way, you will build up a broad basic knowledge to put your projects and plans into practice. Do you have ideas and templates?

Requirements: bring your own brush set (e.g. from da Vinci, thicknesses 4,6,8,10)
