The small, successful cultural center on the Osterdeich has a wide range of cultural and social activities and over 75,000 visitors a year.
Young and old come together in the community center in numerous courses, activities, concerts and other cultural events. Courses are held in the areas of movement, dance, language, self-assertion, theater and artistic design, and the house regularly offers creative and cultural vacation activities or workshops for children during the vacations or at weekends. Concerts from various genres, theater events (especially for children), readings and dance events are part of the house's standard program.

Information on accessibility: The upper floor of the event house and the event room are accessible for wheelchair users. Wheelchair spaces can be created flexibly on site as required. The toilets are wheelchair accessible.
