Formed in Norwich in 2012, Mammal Hands quickly gained a reputation for their hypnotic fusion of jazz and electronica. They signed to Gondwana Records in 2013 and have since released five critically acclaimed albums, most recently Gift from the Trees in 2023. Their unique sound has been enthusiastically recommended by trendsetters Tom Ravenscroft, Bonobo, Jamie Cullum and Gilles Peterson.

Their intense and mesmerizing live performances have earned them a reputation as a live band and enabled them to tour extensively around the world, performing in Japan, China, the USA, Thailand and across Europe.

Their most notable live performances include concerts at the Barbican London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Montreux Jazz Festival, Cologne Philharmonie, La Cigale Paris, Montreal Jazz Festival, Athens Technopolis and Unit Tokyo.

With a wide range of influences, Mammal Hands draw inspiration from jazz, contemporary classical, electronica, folk and minimalism to create their own inimitable style that captures the imagination of a loyal fan base around the world. They are currently working on their sixth studio album, which will be released in spring 2026, and continue to play live shows around the world.

With this new album in their luggage, Mammal Hands will be coming to Hamburg on May 30th and inviting you to dance in the beautiful Mojo.
